Pheasants Forever believes the future of conservation and our hunting heritage depends upon today’s youth having the desire and opportunities to carry on the ethical traditions of this organization. At both the national and chapter level, Pheasants Forever is investing in sound programs enriched with events such as youth mentor hunts, conservation events and habitat projects.
Youth are invited to become part of our PF Outdoor Adventure Club, which is dedicated to introducing youth to hunting, shooting sports and outdoor conservation through youth events, education, community service and cooperation with both governmental and non-governmental partnerships. Through a variety of programs, youth gain knowledge, learn skills and develop a land ethic necessary to be responsible hunters and conservationists. As they grow up, they can in turn pass on the outdoor traditions of their youth to future generations.
If you are a youth/teenager or have a child under 17 and want to get involved, call Stacy Dvorak at info@scottcountypf.org or call 612.202.6119.
Please Note: Most firearms classes are offered in spring and fall. Check for spring classes in February and fall classes in July. Classes are added to the DNR website daily as the information becomes available. Periodically check the class listing for additional classes.
Requirements: Certification is available to students 11 years and older.
